About & methodology
Loveology AI exists to help adults reflect on how they love with more clarity and less shame. It is educational, not clinical. We do not diagnose, we do not guarantee romantic compatibility, and we do not claim scientific validation.
How scores are generated
- Every question belongs to a category and maps to exactly one scored dimension.
- Answers are recorded on a 1–5 scale and normalised to 0–100. Reverse-scored items are flipped before averaging so that higher always means "more of this dimension".
- Each item carries a weight (0.7–1.3) reflecting how much it tells us. Dimension scores are weighted averages of the items you actually answered.
- Archetypes are a weighted blend across dimensions. The top three are normalised so they sum to exactly 100%.
- Confidence is a function of how many items you answered — low, moderate or good. Skipped sections simply lower confidence for that area.

What we will not do
- Diagnose a condition or label a person as abusive or narcissistic.
- Tell you definitively whether to stay in or leave a relationship.
- Claim ownership of, or equivalence to, third-party personality or love-language tests.
- Predict that a relationship will succeed or fail.
